Stergios Konstantinou & Associates – SGK Legal participated in a roundtable in Athens organised by Amazon Web Services (AWS), focusing on the upcoming European initiatives the Digital Networks Act (DNA) and the Cloud and AI Development Act (CAIDA).
The meeting brought together representatives from government and public administration, regulators, academia, industry and civil society, in a high-level exchange on how the European Union can strengthen its digital networks, cloud ecosystem and artificial intelligence landscape, while ensuring competitiveness, security and regulatory coherence.
The discussion focused on the broader policy objectives of the two initiatives and their potential role in shaping the future framework for digital infrastructure, investment and technology governance in Europe, with particular emphasis on legal certainty and the practical implementation of forthcoming EU regulations.
